Lauren Daly, owner

I am a common sense governance professional with years of experience working in the public and private sectors.

I hold a Bachelor of Applied Management, a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance, and am an Associate Member of the Governance Institute of Australia.

As a business owner myself, I know it can be hard to be sure your business is compliant with its obligations while trying to do the 'every day' work.

And I know it's hard to commit the time required to make sure you're across all that's happening within and outside your business.

Having lived and worked in a rural environment for my career, I am particularly interested in supporting rural and regional clubs and business, and understand the rural environment and its challenges and opportunities.

I am a proud mum of three children, and in my spare time I support my husband in running our beef farming operations and enjoy sharing a taste of our farm life through our farm accommodation 'Dalrose Retreat' in Stratford, Victoria.

Life is busy as a business owner and volunteer committee member. But we can make it easier on ourselves if we have good governance systems and processes in place to support ourselves, our staff, our members, clients and community.
